Wrench Studios
Wrench is one of my boldest moves yet.
In late 2022 I've decided I want to move out of my home studio and start taking engineering seriously.

But there was also this lifelong dream to create something like a brand or community that's all about artists themselves. Sort of like a house for art and people interested in it.
I ended up wanting to merge the two together. And I did.
I set roots in my hometown Hradec Králové, Czechia, since I wanted to pay all dues to where I'm from.
Wrench is now not only an actual recording studio in the city center of HK, but I'm currently working on custom apparel with its own branding and collabs, starting to draw more and more musicians in, aiming to be involved in event planning once I have more time, and overall wanting to get people involved. This is something that I made but doesn't belong to just me.
Building the studio itself was absolutely crazy.
The budget for everything was extremely tiny, especially for a large-scale music studio.
Me and my two friends Tom and Luky were hauling pounds of wood in the freezing winter, constructing acoustics out of rockwool, hanging off of rusty ladders trying to hang panels on the ceiling, drilling, painting, breaking stuff, falling, breathing in dust... it was really something.
If you want to see the proccess of making it, you can find it in the earliest posts on the studio's Instagram page,
which you should check out anyway if you're interested. We post everything that's happening on there.
I'm currently also working on a custom webpage for the studio, but as we're speaking right now, things are still evolving.
Stay tuned!
